The path I took to become an artist is a bit untraditional. I have been a small business owner for a long time while raising four daughters. Once I became an empty-nester and had some free time, I began dabbling in textured art as a way to decorate my home. I quickly discovered a creative outlet that I thoroughly enjoyed and the art became a passion of mine. With the use of common products such as joint compound, spackling paste, modeling paste, and acrylics, I am able to create unique 3-D textures in a variety of styles. I love the soothing simplicity of neutrals and minimalistic design, but am also a sucker for mid-century modern and bright colors.
