8TH GRADE DANCE - Friday, June 5th
The 8th grade dance will be Friday, June 5th at KMS. Please consider donating to help cover costs for this year's 8th grade dance.
Donations collected will go towards the DJ, snacks, decorations, and prizes
There is no fee for the dance, but 8th grade parents will have to register their students in advance to attend. Registration will open about 2 weeks prior to the event and will be sent out to parents via Skyward and posted on the KMS – PTA Facebook page. Students will need to bring their student ID with them, and the dance is only open to current KMS 8th grade students.
8th GRADE PROMOTION CEREMONY DETAILS - Monday, June 8th 6:00-7:00 PM
Where: Germantown High School Field House - W180N11501 River Lane
Family Information: Parents and families, please enter the GHS Field house using Door 26. **The Field House entrance is at the back of the school, with parking available, see included map. Doors will open at 5:40 and students MUST arrive by 5:40 - SHARP!! All students will be seated on the floor of the field house, and parents and family members can be seated in the bleachers (no tickets required). We will also have limited seating available on the field house floor for guests not able to make it into the bleachers. Please leave those floor seats available for guests who need them.
Student Arrival Information: Event begins at 6PM. Students MUST arrive by 5:40 - SHARP!! Upon entering the field house, please have your student find their Advisory teacher, enter that row, look for the chair with their name on it, and sit down. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6PM.
Parents’ Attendance Responsibility – Monday, June 8th: If your student is absent from school on Monday, June 8th, we will assume they will NOT be attending the ceremony, and their name will NOT be called. We will have a QR code for programs available with all students listed.
If your student will not be attending the ceremony, please email kmsoffice@gsdwi.org no later than Monday, June 8th at 9AM
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL 8th GRADE ONLY – Monday, June 8th
The official last day of the school year, June 9th, is a non-school day for 8th grade students. Students will NEED to clean out lockers by the end of day on Monday, June 8th.
