Good Morning, Crusaders! Happy Monday! We hope you had a fabulous weekend. We’re glad you’re here! Today is a GOLD day.

Today’s weather at noon: 58 degrees. 

Please make your lunch choice as soon as possible - before 9:15 am at the latest.  Lunch choices for the next day can be ordered after 1:30 each day. Feel free to sign up for the next day’s lunch after 1:30 or when you get home from school.  

Today is picture retake day in the GAC.  If you are getting your picture retaken, you will need to turn in your original photo packet.

Good luck to our Girls’ Basketball teams as they go against Tosa Longfellow.

 

Jazz Band is today from 2:45 - 3:30 pm in the Band room.

Musical auditions are just around the corner.  The sign-up sheet is on Ms. Fichtner’s door.  Make sure to grab the information sheet.

It's book fair week in the library!  Our Fall book fair officially opens TODAY from 8am - 2pm (the book fair will be closed during advisory group).  Attention Diary of a Wimpy Kid fans...Did you know that the newest release in the Diary of A Wimpy Kid series drops TOMORROW?!  That's right, tomorrow!  Our book fair is expecting to have a limited supply of copies for sale beginning tomorrow.  If you want to be one of the first to own your own copy, be sure to visit the book fair early this week!  Remember if you can't get to the fair today, you can check out the book fair's entire selection and even shop online from home by visiting the library's Google Classroom.  See you at the fair!  

If you're interested in getting involved, meeting new people, taking pictures, and working with page design, the KMS Yearbook Club is for you.  Come to our informational meeting on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 2:45 to 3:30 in the library.  Any questions?  See Mr. Gaskell or Ms. Restivo

Join Best Buddies at KMS! Best Buddies is a club where students make new friends and enjoy fun monthly events together! Sign up in your parents email, or at our first meeting is tomorrow from 2:45–4:00 PM. Reach out to your advisory teacher if you have any questions

Attention all aspiring journalists! The Crusader Newspaper is holding an informational meeting on Thursday, October 23rd, during your lunch hour in Room G138!  Please bring your lunch and a friend with you to discuss story ideas, learn about different roles, and get involved in creating the next issue. No prior experience is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm!

Destination Imagination tryout forms have been sent to your Skyward email address. Paper copies will also be available in the office. Forms must be turned in to the office or emailed to the DI Coordinator. Tryouts are next week so get your forms in soon.

Please join Key Club in a Food Drive for the St. Boniface and St. Gabriel Food Pantry.

The Advisory with the most items will win an ice cream party. Thank you for your donations! 

Advisory - Bring everything you need TO Advisory. Only one student is allowed out of Advisory at a time. (unless it’s an emergency) Advisory is a time to get everything done from the day.

All food and drinks purchased in the cafeteria at lunch must be consumed during lunchtime and not taken out of the cafeteria. 

Rules Reminder: Keep your hands to yourselves. Play fighting is not acceptable. 

KINDNESS - The kind of person you are can be measured by the way you make others feel. Remember The Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. In other words: Give others the same level of kindness that you would like to receive. Be kind. It’s that simple.
