  • The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, September 26th. Tickets will be on sale starting Wednesday. IF you plan to bring a guest that attends another high school - there is a guest form you must complete and return to the main office by Friday, September 18th. Find the forms on the wall across from Student Services or linked in the Announcements: GUEST DANCE FORM.


  • September is recognized nationwide as Gynecologic and Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, a dedicated time to raise awareness for all gynecologic cancers. Throughout the remainder of the month, EWS will focus on educating our building and student body about risks and symptoms, highlighting the urgent need for more research funding, and honoring the countless individuals and families impacted by these diseases. EWS will welcome back former math teacher Ms Kelly Korek, to share her experience of diagnosis, treatment, and survival at our next meeting on Thursday, September 24th, at 6:15am in the Innovation Center. Listen for future announcements and look for flyers around the building!


  • Class Ring Orders for the Class of 2029 are due online at Jostens.com on or before Tuesday, September 15th. This is the final day that the online promotional offers will be available. Jostens will be in the cafeteria during lunch on Tuesday, September 15th with class ring and letter jacket sizing samples and to answer any order questions.

  • Attention all students - Do you have plans yet for spring break this year? If not, Mrs. Stoecklein and Mrs. GW are holding their last parent informational meeting about the Spring Break trip to Belize. If you have any interest in joining the trip this year, scan the QR code on the poster in the hallway to RSVP and let your parents know about the informational meeting. The parent informational meeting is on Monday, Sept 21 from 6:30-7:30 in the Lecture Hall (room A117). If you are already signed up for the trip, there is no need to come to this meeting.

  • Hey GHS! Do you enjoy volunteering within our community? If so, Key Club is for you!! Key Club registration closes this Friday!!
    Pick up your registration form in Student Services and please return it by this Friday.

  • Dramatic Impact is holding auditions for this year’s fall play, "You Can’t Take It With You!" This fast paced comedy follows an eccentric family whose unusual lives lead to plenty of chaos and surprises that rival even your craziest family dinner!

Auditions will be September 15 at 3:00 PM in the PAC. Sign up for an audition time outside A124 Ms. Lawson’s classroom.

Can’t make it on the 15th? The rain check audition date will be September 14 at 3PM.

  • Hey GHS! Are you interested in volunteering within the Germantown Community? If so, Key Club is for you! Key Club registration is running through September 18th. Pick up your registration form in Student Services today!

  • Welcome back Seniors! The student services department will be offering the following postsecondary presentations:

    • On Tuesday, September 15th the school counselors will present on Apprenticeships in the PAC during resource. Seniors interested in learning about apprenticeships after high school should sign up in Securly to secure a spot.

    • On Wednesday, September 16th the school counselors will present on various scholarship opportunities/resources in The PAC during resource. Seniors interested in learning about scholarships should sign up in Securly to secure a spot.

    • On Thursday, September 17th the school counselors will present on FAFSA in The PAC during resource. Seniors interested in learning about scholarships should sign up in Securly to secure a spot.

Seniors, you must attend at least one presentation but we welcome you to attend as many as you would like.
