Hey everyone! From now until Thanksgiving break, Student Council (STUCO) is hosting a fun Thanksgiving activity during all lunch hours! Come stop by the table near the freshman and sophomore lunch areas to write something you're thankful for on a turkey feather. After you’re done, you can hang your feather on our giant school turkey and help us create a huge display of gratitude! Let’s fill our turkey with positivity and thankfulness! We hope to see you there!
The school counselors will be hosting mandatory course selection presentations for students on the following dates in the PAC during resource:
Monday, December 1. Freshman students will report to your home resource room. Your teacher will take your attendance and then walk you to the PAC as a class. Students must remain together with their resource class and sit with their teacher.
Tuesday, December 2 . All sophomores have been assigned to the PAC. Please report directly to the PAC at the start of resource on Tues. Dec 2nd.
Wednesday, December 3. All juniors have been assigned to the PAC. Please report directly to the PAC at the start of resource on Weds Dec 3rd.
Have you ever wanted to drive a 150-pound robot through the hallways of the school? Join the Germantown Robotics Team during Resource time on November 5 and do just that! You can also participate in this month’s Innovation Challenge “Lego Storm” and see if you can build a tower to survive a hurricane.

Looking for a way to unwind and kick off the holiday season? Come join Peers 4 Peers and Youth Futures at Mugs & Movies on Tuesday, December 2 at 3:00 PM. in the PAC. We will be showing Home Alone and hosting a hot chocolate bar. Students who would like to attend should register by Tuesday, November 25 by scanning the QR code on one of the flyers hanging up around school or in Student Services.
SMART Teams is having their first ever Winter Fundraiser! All items are 3D printed by SMART Team members. We have holiday tree figurines, snowflake ornaments, G-Town spirit-wear earrings, and G-Town coasters available for sale. All items must be pre-ordered with payments in cash or check. Please make checks out to GHS with SMART Teams in the memo line. Items will be delivered the week of December 15. If you are interested, please fill out the Google Form in the announcements by Tuesday, December 2 to place your order (SMART Teams Fundraiser Order Form). Thank you for supporting SMART Teams and school spirit this winter!
Attention students 16 years old and older: The NHS is hosting the annual Red Cross Blood Drive on December 9. Sign-ups will take place during lunch from December 1 through the 5th. If you have any questions, reach out to Uma Goradia or Lydia Pedersen.
