Congratulations again to the 1996 State Championship Softball Team! Germantown enjoyed celebrating their championship thirty years removed on Tuesday night this week!





Varsity Track and Field: On Friday, April 10th, the varsity boys and girls traveled to Franklin to kick off the outdoor season at the Franklin Invite. The girls team took home their second consecutive 1st place finish at the Franklin Invite out of 18 teams. The boys finished 4th place out of 15 teams.

JV Track and Field: On Thursday, April 16th, the JV team hosted the GTown Triangular. They competed against strong competitors from Sussex Hamilton and Kettle Moraine Lutheran. Both teams placed 2nd. Come support the JV team next Tuesday April 21st at Nathan Hale high school.

Germantown HOSA-Future Health Professionals took 31 students to State Leadership this past week in the Dells. Francine Bour was an outstanding representative of GTown, she serves Wisconsin HOSA on the Exec Board as VP of Public Relations for the 2025-26 school year. Francine presented and emceed the conference. Advisor Ms. Seramur was awarded HOSA Advisor of the year for the secondary division! The chapter was honored for their donation to NAMI, HOSA's state service project this year.
Students attended the Expo and networked with colleges and industry professionals. They attended breakout sessions, took academic tests in a variety of healthcare subjects, and competed in their event they had advanced from Regionals to State with.
At awards the top five from HOSA SLC competitions are announced. 1st-3rd are invited to Nationals-HOSA ILC to be held in Indianapolis this June where HOSA is celebrating their 50th year anniversary! Those in 4th and 5th are alternates.

With the celebration of the 50th anniversary of HOSA there was an offered history exam of which Janiru Herath took 1st!
Students were recognized for ATC (Academic Career Testing) The goal of the HOSA Academic Testing Center is to provide as many HOSA delegates as possible with the opportunity to demonstrate their basic knowledge in preparation to become future health professionals. Competitors will recognize, identify, define, interpret, and apply knowledge in a 50-item multiple choice test with a tie-breaker question. The written test will measure knowledge and understanding at the recall, application, and analysis levels. Higher-order thinking skills will be incorporated.
