The Pom and Dance Team competed at Regionals this past weekend in Middleton and placed 4th in their Pom routine! They qualified for State in La Crosse which is in a week! Great job, Warchix!
The team also did a halftime routine at Tuesday night's boys' varsity basketball game.


The Germantown Boys' Basketball Team delivered instant classic vibes at the 5th Annual Warhawk Invite, edging out an 82–79 win on a last-second, game-winning three-pointer by JJ Walters. In a back-and-forth battle that stayed tight all night, Walters rose up as time expired and buried the triple, sending the Germantown bench—and crowd—into a frenzy.
The victory capped off a high-powered offensive performance by Germantown, which shot an impressive 52.6% from the field and a scorching 59.1% from beyond the arc (13-of-22). The team also took care of business at the free-throw line, converting 9-of-11 (81.8%) in a game where every point mattered.
Cahlil Jones was the engine all night, stuffing the stat sheet with 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 10 assists, controlling the tempo and setting up teammates throughout the game. Jones went 10-of-17 from the floor and added 4-of-5 at the stripe in a complete senior performance.
Walters wasn’t just the hero at the buzzer—he was lethal all evening. The senior poured in 20 points, knocking down 5-of-7 three-pointers, while also adding 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals. His confidence never wavered, and Germantown trusted him with the final shot—rightfully so.
Dylan Merryfield provided a huge boost with 17 points on an ultra-efficient 7-of-10 shooting, including 3-of-5 from deep, while also protecting the rim with two blocks. Darrius Peete chipped in 11 points, hitting 3-of-4 from three, and Jack Olszewski, Aidan Bonner, and Payton Laabs added solid defensive energy.
Germantown boys' basketball battled to the final horn but ultimately fell 90–81 to Tosa West on January 27, despite a monster night from senior Cahlil Jones.
Jones was nearly unstoppable offensively, pouring in a game-high 39 points on an ultra-efficient 15-of-21 shooting. The senior added five assists, three rebounds, and a block while consistently attacking the rim and keeping Germantown within striking distance throughout the night. Jones also knocked down 2-of-4 from three, showcasing his versatility as the focal point of the offense.
Tosa West’s depth and ability to convert at the free-throw line proved to be the difference, as Germantown struggled at the stripe, shooting just 50% (10-of-20) on the night. While the Warhawks generated quality looks, missed opportunities and turnovers at key moments allowed Tosa West to maintain control late.
Jack Olszewski finished with 9 points and 3 rebounds, bringing defensive intensity and energy, while Dylan Merryfield contributed 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, impacting the game on both ends of the floor. Aidan Bonner gave Germantown a spark from beyond the arc, knocking down 2 three-pointers on his way to 6 points.
JJ Walters scored 8 points, but continued to facilitate with three assists, while Payton Laabs chipped in 3 points and an assist. Darrius Peete added 5 points and a steal, and Cole Reiter provided a strong presence inside with 6 rebounds.

On Tuesday the girls' basketball team defeated Tosa West 89-43. Five Warhawks scored in double figures: Maddie Stocks (16 points), Samantha Stocks (15 points), Avery O'Brien (15 points), Morgan Johnson (14 points) and Teigan Stuve (10 points). Macey Burling pulled down 5 rebounds, while Teigan Stuve had 3 assists and 3 blocked shots. Four Warhawks had 4 steals in the game, including Maddie Stocks, Teigan Stuve, Kylee Bell and Avery O'Brien.
The girls take on Brookfield Central tonight at home for Youth Night. Good luck!

The boys' swim team competed in the Menomonee Falls invitational on Saturday. Germantown took 4th place in the invite, their best finish this season at an invite! The meet was highlighted by two season best relay times in the 200 medley relay and the 200 freestyle. Gabe Garves had a fantastic 50 free time of 24.72 and Daniel Xu went 24.7 in his relay and 25.1 from the blocks. Edgar Rock broke the 30 barrier in the 50 for the first time with a 29.5 and broke the 1:10 mark in the 100 free with a 1:09. Zach Prescott went 28.9 in his 50 a season best. Isiah Prahl and Tyler Kirsch had great 100 fly times. Maddox Prahl had a great 50 and broke a minute in his relay for the 400 freestyle. Amay Desai had a season best 100 free time and Jack Nicol had a great 200 freestyle. Jacob Osterbeck had an awesome 500 freestyle. Aiden Kreitzer had a great 100 back performance as well. Germantown heads to varsity conference tomorrow wish them luck! Go Hawks!














This past week was a busy one for the Warhawks. Germantown wrestled at Brown Deer on Wednesday against Brown Deer and Milwaukee Lutheran. The Warhawks defeated Milwaukee Lutheran 66-16 and then won a thriller against Brown Deer 42-34 with Kaiden Palimore securing a come from behind pin to seal the dual.
On Thursday the Warhawks defeated Brookfield Central 46-29 to secure their 5th straight Greater Metro Conference Dual Championship! Picking up pins for the Warhawks this week were Kellen Becker, Isaac Weber, Johnathan Marth, Jack Brukbacher, Jonathan Spence-Bouie, Isaac Momper, David Schultz and Kaiden Palimore.
A few weeks ago the Girls' Varsity traveled up to Wausau West for one of the biggest tournaments in the state. Both Autumn Xiong and Amelia Johnson wrestled well, with Amelia going 4-2 and taking 4th place.
Next Friday both Boys and Girls Varsity travel to Hamilton for the Greater Metro Conference tournament. GOOD LUCK!

The MSG Ski Team competed in a slalom race on Thursday, January 29 at Sunburst. MSG went head-to-head with Arrowhead, Brookfield East, and Homestead High Schools and delivered an impressive performance! The Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls teams both placed 2nd, JV Boys Red placed 1st, and JV Boys Gray placed 2nd! Shoutout to Germantown skiers – Grayson Butzke (Varsity Boys) who placed 4th out 24 racers and for the JV Boys Justin Sossaman placed 5th out of 17 racers, Izaak Zaretzky placed 6th and Evan Kazmierczak placed 11th. The team’s final regular-season race is coming up next Thursday, February 5 at 5:00 PM at Little Switzerland. Come out and support MSG as they chase more podium finishes!
