The Germantown Boys' Cross Country Team wrapped up their season last week. On Thursday, October 23rd the JV squad raced the JV State/Future Meet of Champions at Mitchell Park in Brookfield. Cooler temps and fast competition helped 15 of the18 athletes run to a new personal record (PR). Congrats to the following athletes on their PRs!
Zach Prescott, Ishaan Singh, Emanuel Santiago, Tyler Kirsch, Amay Desai, Justin Sossaman, Will Grimm, Landon Leukert, Wyatt Privat, Drew Venne, Colin Hecker, Dominic Grossi, Caleb Gross, Mark Flores, and Logan Bengtson
Also, the team noted that Zach Prescott and Tyler Kirsch raced at this course as the first race of their freshman season. On Saturday, October 25th 7 Varsity athletes raced in the Sectional Meet at Jackson Park in Milwaukee.
Matt Momper ran a great race at Sectionals and ended up just 18 seconds outside of a qualifying spot for State. Amazing season, Matt.
