WOSWOSWOSWOSWOSWOSWOSWOSWOSWOSWOSWOSWOSBCCOn Saturday, October 4th the Germantown Boys' Cross Country Team competed at the Arrowhead Invite.  Unusually warm temperatures pushed up the race times as athletes battled a large field and the heat. The Varsity squad finished 8th out of 19 teams.  Matt Momper (18th) and Vander Hausmann (21st) both earned medals in a very competitive field that featured the #2 and #3 ranked teams in the state for Division 1.  Jack Flynn, Monroe Gaskill, and Matthias Morrow rounded out the scoring 5.  Matthias and Chase Schellinger both had personal records (PRs) in the race.

Zach Prescott, Blake Yegge, Ishaan Singh, Emanuel Santiago, and Amay Desai were the scoring runners for the JV race.  The JV squad finished 12th out of 17 teams.  Zach, Landon Leukert, Wyatt Privat, and Logan Bengtson all had PRs in the race.

FBFBFBFBFB G GolfThe Girls' Varsity team’s season came to an end on Monday in Sectionals at Old Hickory. The team placed 6 out 8 teams at the Sectional to end a historic season. It was a tough end at a tough course but was a fantastic season. Great season ladies!

B SoccerOn Wednesday, Germantown traveled to Wauwatosa West for their second to last conference game.  After missing a few early chances, Germantown gave up a gut wrenching goal with 10 second left in the second half.  There weren't many chances in the second half, but Tosa West capitalized on a couple of free kicks to score two more goals and win the game 3-0.  On Thursday, Germantown hosted Oshkosh West on Senior Night.  The boys were ready to have a bounce back game and ended up winning 7-3.  Paul Mryzglod led the scoring with 3 goals and 1 assist.  Aaron Dethloff, Ryan Angers, and Lewis Ankerson got a goal as well.  Next, the team travels to Hamilton for their final conference game with a chance to finish the conference in 3rd place for the first time in program history.

CelebratingHIGH SCHOOL: Congratulations to Alexander Seboe and William Heller for another great job they did on the fourth mountain bike race of the season at Camp Tesomas in Rhinelander on Sunday. There were over 850 athletes racing across the different categories. Course is set throughout the Camp Tesomas ground including an advanced rider section of trail that goes past Crystal Lake as well as some new and reworked trails built for the race. Alexander took 8th place again in his category. Once again the athletes had to deal with rising temperatures throughout the weekend. In addition to the heat, the athletes also had to deal with super dusty trails due to the lack of rain.
