Boys' Soccer hosted the 4th best team in the state, Brookfield East. Germantown battled and defended really well but could not create too many chances to score. Brookfield East scored two impressive goals to win 2-0. On Thursday night, Germantown traveled to Pewaukee in a non-conference game. After a sluggish start, Pewaukee was the first to score in the second half. Germantown picked up their play and started to create more chances. Midway through the second half Paul Mryzglod played a short corner to Evan Buss, received it back, then played a ball to the top of the box where Payton Laabs was waiting to bury in the back of the net. A few minutes later, Nick Leupi carried the ball from the left corner and got to the end line past a few defenders. He then passed the ball back across the goal and found Brendan Fredrickson to score the second goal, to make the game 2-1 Germantown and that was the final score of the game.
