Mamma Mia! is a romantic comedy filled with sun, fun, and a little Greek flair. The story opens on the beautiful white and blue fictional Greek island of Kalokairi. There we meet Donna, a hard working, feisty mother who is a ’70s girl at heart, and her daughter, Sophie, a ’90s girl who just wants a big white wedding and a family of her own.

Donna’s charming Summer Night City Taverna, named after her favorite song, is an ‘undiscovered gem’. It provides a backdrop for the story and a home to exciting, chaotic, and eccentric guests. Accompanied by the whirlwind soundtrack from ABBA and the salty sea breeze, we follow Sophie on her quest for her own happily ever after.
