Homecoming week is September 21-25. T-shirts are sold by individual class and the proceeds go to support class activities
The powderpuff game is Wednesday, September 23. Students participating in the game can purchase a powderpuff shirt (same color as the class shirt). Names can be added to the back for $5. No nicknames are allowed.
Either shirt ordered can be picked up on Tuesday, September 22.

Congratulations to Justine Weyer Goodman (Class of 2006), who will be inducted into the UW-Whitewater Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025 this weekend.
A standout gymnast, Justine became UW-Whitewater’s first individual national champion on vault and the program’s first two-time national champion. She helped lead the Warhawks to multiple top-three national finishes and a conference title, earning six WIAC individual titles and three All-America honors along the way.
From Germantown Warhawks to UW-Whitewater Warhawks, Justine’s achievements continue to inspire Warhawks everywhere.

Germantown Class of 2025 alum Jack Wanezek continues to make his mark at UW-Eau Claire. Recently named a Blugold Athlete of the Week, Jack delivered an outstanding performance at the Blugold Invite, closing his final mile in 5:15 and passing 112 runners on his way to the finish.
We are proud to see Jack carrying the Warhawks spirit forward through his hard work, determination and success at the collegiate level.

Bubbles are a great model because, like cell membranes, they are fluid, flexible and can repair themselves. Each bubble has two layers of soap molecules with water trapped in between .Cell membranes have a similar design called a phospholipid bilayer. The “heads” of the molecules love water, while the “tails” avoid it. Just as a bubble separates the air inside from the air outside, a cell membrane separates and protects the inside of the cell while controlling what enters and leaves.
