Important Notes for Parents
Germantown School District DOES NOT HAVE A 3K or 4K program. The Department of Public Instructions rules for open enrollment do not allow parents to apply to other districts for programs their resident (Germantown) district does not offer. Therefore, open enrollment applications OUT of the district for 3K or 4K programs must be denied by both districts.
The school district will have several seats available for the 2019 - 2020 school year in grades 3, 4, 5, and 8 only.
If your child is attending school in the district on a tuition waiver due to a move this year, YOU MUST apply for Open Enrollment to remain in the district.
Once your child is approved for open enrollment, you need NOT apply any future years.
Students are chosen via a lottery system. You will be notified in May if you child has received a seat. You will not be able to register your child without the approval form you receive.
You may contact the school to request a tour if you have received confirmation that your child has been selected. We ARE NOT able to accommodate tours and shadowing for students that have not yet been accepted for open enrollment.
