It is a great honor to be the principal at Rockfield. In my 15 years in education, I’ve been fortunate to teach and lead in Arizona, California, Connecticut and Wisconsin. Each experience provided incredible growth opportunities and have led me to where I am today, which is home. Being in the Germantown School District, specifically at Rockfield, is a wonderful place to be for students, parents and staff. Rockfield is a place where students are eager to learn and play and teachers love to teach. We have an incredibly dedicated staff who support students as young as three. Rockfield is home to the District’s Early Childhood program and services elementary students from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.
This year we are “Building great habits the Rockfield Way.” Our theme was sparked as a collaborative effort to embrace the actual construction going on as we add four classrooms and a common learning space to our building, include our PBIS expectations of being safe, responsible and respectful and to introduce the 7 Habits of Happy Kids by Sean Covey. Throughout the year we will hold various assemblies to celebrate our school community and teach elements about the construction process along with rolling out each of the 7 Habits.
Rockfield is truly a special place. We have been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School in 2012 and a PBIS School of Distinction in 2015.
Learning is my passion and it is my mission to ensure that all students have the opportunity to learn each and every day. Please feel free to contact me at any time to share successes about your child’s learning experience as well as ask questions about the learning process. I’ve loved getting to know so many students and families already and look forward to wonderful year!
