The schoolwide theme this year relates to community service.  In November the staff and students teamed up to support one of our local families with medical needs with a celebration chili dinner. The Staniak Family was celebrating the completion of Ryan's chemotherapy. They requested that the funds raised be given to the MAAC(Midwestern Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) Fund.

Classrooms donated an art item that was part of a silent auction.  Families enjoyed some great food and conversation while helping a local familiy celebrate encouraging medical news.  About $1,300 was given to the MAAC fund as a thank you from Ryan for all the support he was given during his treatment.
