Artist in Residence

With the help of the PTA, our library will soon have a brand new mural painted on the wall! Last month all students got a chance to meet our Artist in Residence, Bonnie Leick. She shared some of her experience as a professional artist. She is a multi-talented illustrator of children's books as well as an animator. The kids have been enjoying her books in the library. In January, students will be working with Ms. Leick to practice their sketching skills in art class. Starting in February, the next phase will involve students, staff and parents in creation of the mural.
