MacArthur has a leadership enrichment program for students called MacLeaders. This program receives sponsorship through Germantown's local Kiwanis Club and is a K-Kids charter. We began MacLeaders in 2002 to provide students who exhibit strong leadership potential the opportunity to work together to plan school and community projects. The students who are selected to participate are nominated by staff members because they exhibit the qualities of positive leaders. This year two students from each of the third, fourth, and fifth grade classes were selected. the student meet during the lunch/recess (12:15-1:00 p.m.) once a month on Friday under the supervision of Mrs. Schneider, Principal and Mrs. Wolff, Guidance Counselor. . . .
