Mr. Bold has lived in Wisconsin for most of his life. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for his undergraduate degree. He graduated in 1985 with a Teaching Certificate in the areas of Regular and Special Education. Mr. Bold knew very early that he wanted to be an educator. Significant influences toward his professional aspirations include his father and oldest brother, Ricky, who was born with a significant cognitive disability.
Mr. Bold acquired his Administrative Certifications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He was first a teacher in the Milwaukee Public Schools, then came to Germantown and taught 6th grade at Kennedy Middle School. In 1993, he became the Assistant Principal at Kennedy and was eventually promoted to School Principal in 1998.
Mr. Bold along with his four children, and beautiful wife Deborah, live in Germantown. Living in Germantown has been especially rewarding as Mr. Bold enjoys being part of and promoting the importance of being involved with the community. He has and continues to find great excitement in the challenges which he faces as a middle school principal. Some of the most exciting aspects associated with his role have been the work done with staff on school improvement and seeing the powerful impact on student success. Personal interests include athletics, reading, board games, fishing and family outings.
