Mr. Marc Lehnerer is originally from Lansing, Illinois and graduated Thornton Fractional South High School. While attending Illinois State University, he majored in English Education and wrote for The Daily Vidette, the student newspaper. After graduating with honors from Illinois State, Mr. Lehnerer taught English, Speech, and Technical Theater at Munster High School in Munster, Indiana for ten years; during his final two years, he served as chairperson of the English department. In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Lehnerer has served as a forensics coach, class sponsor, and teachers’ association president. Mr. Lehnerer earned a Master of Arts degree in English from Purdue University in 2005 and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from Marian University in 2010. He is certified as a Principal and a Director of Instruction. After moving to Wisconsin to get married, Mr. Lehnerer was hired by Germantown High School in 2007, and he served as Interim Assistant Principal for the 2009-2010 school year. He was appointed to the position of Assistant Principal in July 2010.
