Amy Belle Staffing Changes and Updates
May 2011
Dear Amy Belle Families,
In the May 2011 edition of the Amy Belle Newsletter, you may have noticed an update on our staff and teachers. At that time, we were able to let you know that most of our teachers were staying at their current grade levels. We also told you that we did not know who would be teaching our fourth section of fifth grade. I would like to take this opportunity to update you on a few changes that have taken place since then.
The first change comes at fifth grade. Mr. Gradel will be moving up to fifth grade; joining Mr. Erickson, Mrs. Diedrich, and Ms. Friemoth. The fourth grade team will consist of Mrs. Wandrey, Mrs. Holmi-Stank, and Mrs. Thompsen. The rest of our grade levels will remain the same for next year. Mr. Gradel and Mrs. Thompsen will also switch classrooms so that the 5th grade team (4 rooms) will all be housed at the end of the main hall and the fourth grade team (3 rooms) will be in the middle of the art room hallway. Please also keep in mind that changes can happen at any time throughout the school year and summer, especially when school budgets are unknown.
The second change you will see next year is the principal position at Amy Belle. I tendered my resignation a little earlier this year and will complete my time at Amy Belle on June 30, 2011. The district is currently going through the interview process to find your next principal.
I would like to thank you all for the time, dedication, and support that you have shown me as your principal. I have had a truly remarkable experience here in Germantown and have grown so much as an administrator while at Amy Belle. I have made many new friends and all the families have been warm and welcoming. Thank you so much for allowing me to help guide and educate your children. Amy Belle will hold a special place in my heart.
There are only 17.5 days of school left, please enjoy each and every day as summer will soon be fast upon us and the children will be longing to come back to school.
