ABOUT MS. WICK
This is my ninth year at County Line School. I taught 4th grade for a few years, but I found that my true love is 5th grade. The only part I don't enjoy is the fact that they leave the school when they graduate 5th grade. I don't get to see them the following year like other teachers do, unless they come back to visit me! (Hint, hint! :)
I went to college at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and graduated with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. I always knew that I wanted to become a teacher! I played soccer there for a few years and truly enjoyed living in Oshkosh. That is a place I miss often. I graduated from Cardinal Stritch with my Masters in Instructional Technology in December of 2007.
Besides teaching, I also coach a U-12 girls soccer team in Germantown with Ms. Freiburger. They are a great group of girls, and we had a blast with them during our first season. We look forward to continuing our journey with them. I enjoy playing competitive volleyball and kickball. (And, yes, this is the kickball that you play as a child!) I also love reading a good book that is actually at my level of reading as opposed to what all the 5th graders are reading nowadays. Another passion of mine is taking pictures. I am notorious for having a camera at all times!
You may or may not know by now, but I am a die hard Brewers fan! I dress up for each and every game that I go to, and I attend at least 20-30 games a season! Some friends and I purchase a package every year so that we can pick and choose every possible Brewers game we want! Yep, I'm that nuts about them!
I bought my first home four years ago, and I am loving every minute of being a homeowner (minus the winters which haven't been too bad lately! I wish we could cut grass in winter! I enjoy that!).
Anything else you want to know about me, please feel free to ask. I don't bite! :)
