| Germantown School District Technology Plan |
| The Germantown School District Technology Plan was approved by the WI Department of Public Instruction in 2009. The purpose of the document is to portray a three year action plan based on budgetary considerations, infrastructure needs, and instructional technology integration. |

| National Educational Technology Plan |
| The Germantown ETC will be reading and discussing the National Educational Technology Plan. The National Educational Technology Plan was released in final draft with the main goal "to use technology to raise the percentage of American students graduating with two- or four-year college degrees from 39 percent to 60 percent by 2020, and to narrow racial, socioeconomic, and geographic discrepancies among those graduating students." In order for this goal to be achieved, K-12 educators must know the implications of technology in the classrooms.

| National Educational Technology Standards-Students |
| The Germantown ETC will be reading, reviewing, discussing, and considering adoption of the National Education Standards (NETS). The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) has developed standards for technology integration into educational curriculum for Kindergarten through twelfth grade educators. These standards are called the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) and have been developed for students, teachers, and administrators.
